My West Marches

The West Marches is a RPG play style that puts an emphasis on player decisions, exploration and treasure hunting.

Ben Robbins wrote several blogs that basically codified this style of play.

For some time I had been thinking about running a fantasy game in a D&D style of play. After reading Ben's blog, I realized that some of my ideas would fit very easily into the West Marches mold. So taking inspiration from this, I started working on my own home brew setting for a West Marches game.
It's been a lot of work so far and hopefully it'll bear some fruit as my game begins and progresses over the next year or so.
