Agon d6 - Session 03

24th August 2019

Saturday evening is here. This is time for gaming at Matakishi's.

On this evening we embarked on Matakishi's 3rd Agon d6 adventure; 'The Pool of the Spider People'.

Hmm. Spiders, why did it have to be spiders? This didn't sound too promising. 
Perhaps there wouldn't be spiders everywhere...

Our quest bought us to an island with 2 villages divided by a forest. One that would turn out to be mostly abandoned and one that was populated. We landed at the populated village met with the inhabitants.
Upon entering the village, we saw that it was entirely covered by spiders.

Oh well.

We discovered that one building was not covered in spiders and investigated. This led to some mishaps. This led to us marching through the forest to find and slay a legendary beast whose blood was a potent anti-venom.

As we approached it's lair we began to encounter very lifelike statues...
After some discussion, we surmised this was the work of a cockatrice. After some blundering and traipsing about, we discovered the cockatrice's weakness and managed to defeat it.

After some further traipsing about we arrived at the other village on the island. As suspected, it was a home to giant spiders (And one very giant spider in particular!). But we stood firm and managed to defeat them all.

Our adventure done, we departed the spider infest place. Thank the gods!
